Aiming at providing the residents job opportunities to achieve economic independence, the city government of Marikina through the Labor Relations and Public Employment Service Office (LRPESO) will conduct its 4th Mega Job Fair for 2011 on Friday, September 16, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marikina Sports Park.
The project will open 1,000 jobs to interested applicants for drivers, factory workers, service crews, call center agents, sales ladies, and other positions coming from some 40 companies, local and overseas agencies, manpower agencies, and call centers.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and at least high school graduate.
Mayor Del De Guzman encourages all qualified job-seeking residents to avail of the opportunity.
“With these job fairs, we are able to continuously provide our residents the chance to get a good job, so we invite everyone to grab the opportunity,” De Guzman said.
Further, the LRPESO is currently conducting in-house hiring services for YHMD International Manpower Services Inc., an overseas company that needs 300 service crews and 100 delivery drivers, as well as for the RP Roppean, a manpower agency, which is currently in need of drivers, sales ladies, and office staffs.
LR PESO advises all interested applicants to bring multiple copies of their resume, and to wear appropriate attire during application.
Meanwhile, LRPESO will organize another Mega Job Fair on November 25.
