3rd Marikina Business Conference & Trade Exhibit 2011

To further enhance the relationship of the city government and the business sector, Marikina Mayor De Guzman together with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Marikina Chapter led by chamber president Eduardo C. Francisco will host the 3rd Business Conference on November 28 at the second floor of Kapitan Moy Building.
The 3rd Business Conference is a gathering for Marikina-based businessmen aimed at helping newly established businesses in Marikina through sharing of experiences and advices from different successful businessmen.
The conference also aims to redirect and refocus the various industries’ thrusts towards world class products, and to give inspiration to small and medium scale entrepreneurs.
Moreover, there will be a press conference for their upcoming project dubbed “Made-in-Marikina: Gawang Marikina, Gawang Kinikilala” Trade Exhibit to be held on December 15 to 18 at the SM Megamall, Mega Trade Hall 2.
The exhibit will showcase and promote products made in Marikina like shoes, bags, leather crafts, etc.
“The business conference is made to help not only to help the city’s business sector but also to revive Marikina’s shoe industry as it has used to be the primary source of income in the past years,” De Guzman said.
The activity is also in line with the city’s proclamation on the month of November as Marikina’s Business month.
Starting in the year 2012, several business-related activities and celebrations shall be launched in the Business month to help the business sector as well as to strengthen their relationship with the government.
