Good news for Marikeños! Marikina Mayor Del De Guzman reports that there’s no need for you to travel far and visit the National Statistics Office (NSO) in Manila as you can now apply and claim your needed documents within the city.
This is because of the tie-up between SM Department Store and NSO where the SM Business Centers can now facilitate the application, processing, and releasing of copies of civil registry documents.
These documents include copies of birth, death, and marriage documents, copies of No Record of Marriage (CENOMAR) and copies of annotated and endorsed documents.
All you’ve got to do is to simply visit SM Business Centers in SM City Marikina or Savemore Market in Shoe Avenue, Brgy Sto. Niño. Then sign the forms, make the payments, and come back to get your documents after seven working days.
“We know that these documents are very essential to all kinds of people. This is our way of servicing the people better and give them more convenience,” said Justito R. Yulo, Jr., senior manager development program trainee of SM Mart, Inc.
The birth, death, and marriage certificate is worth PhP160.00, while the Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) is PhP215.00.
“To claim the requested documents, just bring the receipt and the application form used in the SM Business Center where you applied,” added Cristina B. Silvestre, SM City Marikina’s Customer Service Manager.
The SM City Marikina Business Services and Savemore Market in the Shoe Avenue is open from Mondays to Sundays at 10am to 7pm.
